A Sustainable Future

At Jaguar Land Rover, we take sustainability seriously. So seriously, in fact, that we've invested £800m in new vehicle technologies that are specifically designed to reduce CO2 emissions. These include everything from more efficient diesel engines to lighter body structures to cleaner manufacturing processes.

The first Land Rover diesel hybrid, which is due for release in 2012, illustrates our commitment to low-carbon vehicle technologies. As does our goal of lowering the average CO2 emissions of our fleet by a quarter within five years. And that's just the start of it.

Did you know, for instance, that at least 85% of every Jaguar is recyclable? That our diesel engines are assembled using wind power? That our groundbreaking CO2 Offset Programme offsets 100% of the manufacturing emissions of all Land Rover vehicles built in the UK - plus the first 45,000 miles of driving emissions? Or that our Jaguar C-X75 concept supercar has shown the world that it's possible to combine astounding performance with astonishingly low emissions?

We could go on, but the point is this: for sustainable vehicle technology, there's no better destination than Jaguar Land Rover. We admit that we have more to do, but we are making great progress and will continue on this path, but need your help to maintain this momentum.
