An area that is essential for success in the premium automotive sector is the development of high skills, expertise and technology innovations. Our advanced research department is fundamental to this.

The department carries out research on technologies to assess their potential for use in our current or future generation of vehicles. They are involved in component, system and low carbon technologies in areas that involve all aspects of the vehicle.

To ensure that we are aware of, and select the latest and most advanced technologies for all Jaguar and Land Rover products, the Research department works closely with a wide range of leading universities, research bodies and industrial partners, both within and outside of the UK. We have invested £100 million in an advanced research facility at Warwick Manufacturing Group to accelerate innovation.
