Online Tests

We use ability tests to evaluate your potential for gaining skills and knowledge.

Because they are standardised, it's easy to compare your performance with others. Of course, these tests are only part of our overall assessment process. We use them in combination with the responses you provide in your application.

To perform to the best of your abilities:

• Practice. Get familiar with this type of testing by using a number of practice tests online.
• Treat it like an interview. Be prepared, and make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before.
• Read the instructions on the test and follow them precisely, to avoid misunderstandings.
• Keep track of the amount of time you have left and the number of questions remaining.
• Strike a balance between speed and accuracy. Don't go so fast that you start making mistakes, but don't be so careful that you only get a third of the way through the test.
