There are six main departments within Manufacturing. Each is outlined below:

Production Engineering

Whether they’re constructing the body of a vehicle or applying the finishing touches, our production operations teams are instrumental in driving quality and continuous improvement – no matter how fast-paced or challenging the environment. They’re at the core of our business, ensuring that our plant manufacturing processes, people and facilities are world-class. And that our vehicles are too.

Production Operations

This area, quite simply, consists of some of the most significant leadership roles in our business. Leading and motivating large teams of skilled and semi-skilled production workers in a fast paced environment, delivering products of outstanding quality, in line with set schedules, whilst ensuring safety and monitoring cost. Practical problem solving, and the use of lean/continuous improvement tools and waste reduction techniques are underpinned by strong communication and coaching skills.

Material, Planning & Logistics

Success in Logistics isn’t just about being a premium international manufacturer with a global component supply base. Nor is it just about distributing vehicles to virtually every country in the world. It’s also about having the right products with the right quality, in the right place at the right time. Every time. To do this, we need to continue to manage the entire supply chain, from design concept to finished vehicle production, from customer order to dealer delivery worldwide.

Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

In our world, quality and efficiency are everything. That’s why our Advanced Manufacturing engineers inject those two things into every step of their process and facility planning, providing the business with a fantastic platform on which to build new products. And it doesn’t end there. Every day they also take on the challenge of using new materials and technologies in some of the most advanced lean production facilities anywhere.

Power Train Manufacturing Engineering

The engine and its manufacture sit at the heart of our vehicles – whether for performance or economy. Our challenge is to deliver high technology facilities and processes to manufacture these world class power units.

Power Train engineers actively seek out advanced technologies and manufacturing techniques which are then successfully applied to the installation, commissioning and launch of lean, world class quality production facilities.
