By identifying and sourcing products and services that meet our exacting standards, and then negotiating a good price, our Purchasing team has an enormous impact on the organisation’s bottom line and our continued ability to develop world-class vehicles.

These are roles with real responsibility where you can use your creativity to make a difference and as a member of this vital team, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, relationship and strategy development, commercial objectives and quality of supply for your specific categories and associated suppliers. You’ll also work alongside colleagues from other areas of the business to ensure the best overall outcomes from the supply chain, whether they are technical, commercial or logistical.

Supplier Development/Quality Assurance

An essential part of the Purchasing team in driving market-leading quality, working with suppliers of both new and existing products to plan and control their manufacturing processes effectively, to guarantee the highest quality both in the introduction of new products, and continuous improvement activities within our global supply base.

These roles involve travelling extensively throughout the UK and overseas to support supplier selection and leading the assessment of supplier readiness for launch on new programmes, managing relationships with key internal stakeholders, providing direction on the resolution of any major quality or capacity concerns and working on relevant warranty reduction activities.
