Industrial Placements

Our 6 or 12-month industrial placements, within Product Development Engineering or 12-month placements in Purchasing, which run from late June, will give you intensive, firsthand experience of how we operate. Far from running errands and making tea, you'll make a significant contribution from the start. This will involve everything from groundbreaking projects to the day-to-day work behind each of our award-winning vehicles.

By undertaking a placement with us, you'll be able to relate the theoretical concepts you study on your course to the real, fast-paced world of work. And not only will you hone your business skills, but you'll be better prepared for your further studies too.

Summer Placements

During our three-month summer placements, within Product Development Engineering or Purchasing, which start in late June and finish in late September - you'll gain a range of business and technical skills, as well as firsthand insight into what makes our two world-class brands tick. Moreover, by getting involved in real projects and building up valuable experience from the day you arrive, you'll put yourself in a prime position to one day join us for good.

Sponsorship Scheme

Our Engineering Sponsored Schemes will give you hands-on experience within your part of the business, in a huge range of areas. You'll also enjoy world-class training. And uniquely, because the schemes involve vacation placements during your summer holidays over a number of years (as well as, if appropriate, a 6 or 12-month industrial placement), you'll also enjoy the opportunity to see how our business changes and projects develop over time. The chance to see how we evolve to utilise the latest technologies and techniques in automotive engineering will provide invaluable insights for your ongoing studies.
