Advanced Apprenticeship Pathways

Automotive pathway

Working at the forefront of vehicle technology, you'll be involved in test developments for existing models or you'll help build entirely new experimental concepts.


Maintenance pathway

Keeping our manufacturing operation running as smoothly as possible, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose faults and develop your problem solving on some truly cutting edge equipment.


Manufacturing Support pathway

In this area, you'll work to improve our manufacturing techniques and processes - helping us deliver the highest quality end products.


Tool room/Model Factory pathway

Combining traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology, you'll help maintain or develop some of our most innovative product developments.

Higher Apprentice Pathways

Finance pathway

The engineering decisions we make here ripple through the entire company. So in addition to completing your higher qualifications, you'll experience several business functions to hone your business acumen even further. You'll focus on developing a core understanding of engineering in addition to the financial and analytical skills needed for our Engineering Cost Estimation department.

 

Product Development pathway

Whilst completing your qualifications, you'll apply your engineering skills to one of two key areas. Either with Vehicle Calibration to carry out various tests in order to gather and interpret performance data to support our vehicle development programmes. Or into Computer Aided Design (CAD) where you'll gain forming and machining techniques. Then you'll be able to blend Computer Aided Engineering and Modelling to generate vehicle geometry.

 

Production Supervision pathway

Alongside your studying for your latest qualification, you'll grow your practical engineering know-how and develop your supervisory skills. You'll then be able to ensure your team deliver high quality products within a fast-paced and cost-conscious manufacturing environment.

 

Purchasing pathway

Here, you'll split your time between building up to a degree and an impressive technical knowledge with solving supplier technical issues across our Manufacturing sites. Proactive and resourceful, you'll also visit suppliers to help them grow their lean manufacturing techniques and approaches to quality.

 

Manufacturing Engineering pathway

In this vital role, you'll be pivotal to the launch planning and smooth delivery of exciting new products to our customers. Your studies will help you focus on the advanced manufacturing techniques and project management skills required to launch our products on time, every time.
