We’re committed to inspiring tomorrow’s engineers. A big part of this commitment is striving to change the outdated perceptions of engineering and manufacturing, and encouraging more women to consider careers in these fields. Our Young Women In The Know scheme was launched in 2012, and has since engaged more than 200 participants.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the week, you’ll get the chance to tour Jaguar Land Rover’s manufacturing, design and engineering sites, meet current female apprentices, graduates and managers and spend a day gaining hands-on work experience alongside our expert engineering teams.
All applicants will be screened by the apprentice recruitment team, which is aligned with the standard apprentice application process. Those who meet the requirements and are selected to participate in the Young Women In The Know scheme will attend an assessment centre at the end of the course, to hopefully join the full Advanced or Degree apprenticeship scheme.
Applications for our Young Women In The Know Scheme are now closed but will reopen in October 2017.
