    Requirements

This is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills and, depending on your performance, you might be offered a permanent, full-time position. Normally, you will be studying for a postgraduate degree in engineering or a science-related subject, although this can vary depending on the project you’ll be working on. Our placements vary in terms of duration depending on the complexity of the subject and, as you will be working on a real project, the opening and closing dates can also vary for each opportunity so check the specific details for each role. During your placement, you will be based at one of our Research & Development teams in either Coventry or Gaydon.

Projects are offered to those who are pursuing a postgraduate degree (at a master level or equivalent) as part of a Research Postgraduate Placement Programme. All placements are offered on a fixed-term contract and must be completed within 12 months, or sooner if specified in the project description. If successful, together with your manager, you will agree on a suitable start and finish time, and project objectives aligned with your technical interests and business needs. You must already have a right to work in the UK for the entire duration of the placement, and be able to undertake 40 hours per week for the duration of the project.
