This role will lead in managing the reporting and delivering insights for Parts and Accessories Sales and Profits, using data-driven trends to identify and share opportunities across Parts and Accessories by creating compelling interactive visualisations and dashboards to present insights that can be clearly communicated to various audiences. The role will be a core part of a cross-functional team delivering key insights to drive the growth of Parts and Accessory revenue in JLR.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

 

  • Provision of relevant insights to identify business opportunities and risks related to accessories sales, net margin and profit achievements.
  • Analyse large complex data sets from multiple sources. 
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using statistical methods.
  • Creation and provision of monthly, quarterly or annual performance reports providing insights into the parts and accessories business performance and trends with a focus on:
    - Sales performance (e.g. revenue vs budget)
    - Sales penetration (e.g. sales/new vehicle sold or take rates vs budget)
    - Profit performance (e.g. net margin vs budget)
    - On global, regional, market and retailer level
    - On portfolio, nameplate and feature level
  • Identification of business trends, risks and opportunities and provision of those to relevant stakeholders, the regional P&A Review meetings 
  • Continuous improvement of the efficiency of the operating processes of the central and the regional/market teams related to performance reporting for Accessories, incl. data architecture, data storage, data modelling, relevant tools used for data modelling, manipulation and visualisation.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses in response to specific inquiries or emerging issues.
  • Prepare Tableau dashboards and support where required on existing dashboards.
  • Maintenance of dashboards to be used for performance management.
  • Prepare and support regular performance reviews, working with business process owners and regional teams.
     

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Develops sound data analytics proposals for business area; engages key stakeholders in study design.
  • Designs robust data analytics processes and models needed to inform key business decisions - with expertise in Tableau and working with large data sets.
  • Experience in data modelling & forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of Anaplan.
  • Explain data analytics issues and insights that are meaningful for a business area stakeholder.
  • An individual with the capability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with medium term planning.
  • A resilient and enthusiastic who responds constructively to new ideas and inputs.
  • A good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • An effective team player, actively develops and supports team members.
