The Programme Quality teams drive quality into programme delivery by acting as the ‘Voice of the Customer; and influencing the programme management teams, Product Development, Purchasing, Suppliers, Manufacturing and Marketing to make customer driven decisions. 
 
This specific role will focus on managing programme quality within the delivery of Vehicle Programmes, ensuring that we achieve the key Quality targets set throughout the development of new vehicle programmes to achieve customer expectations. 

This role will be responsible for:
•    Developing effective cross functional relationships and plans across multiple Agile groups/squads, to ensure Critical to Quality deliverables are delivered robustly and on time, and that Key Performance Indicators for each deliverable are clearly understood.
•    Producing regular, data driven, programme technical risk assessments relating to programme content and ensuring all outstanding risks at gateways are effectively captured and managed with defined actions or Risk & Recovery plans.
•    Ensuring that all programme deliverables for which the Programme Quality team is responsible are delivered robustly and on time for all programmes within the scope of the role.
•    Supporting engineering delivery (when required) with EBER reviews, DRBFM, new AGILE ways of working and other forums throughout the programme delivery, providing quality input as applicable to ensure accurate assessment of risks.
•    Applying a quality conscience to programme delivery by being the 'Voice of the Customer', influencing programme direction and decisions, and by delivering and improving company quality processes. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • You'll be a resilient, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual able to work flexibly and tenaciously to deliver results under pressure or to drive issues to resolution during product development and launch periods of the programme.
  • You'll be transparent and dependable with a customer first mindset and highly motivated to drive the quality mindset into interfacing individuals and teams.
  • You'll need to demonstrate understanding of programme and project management with specific knowledge of delivery frameworks (PCDS or other), deliverables and gateway governance.
  • You'll have experience of Agile methodologies, including use of JIRA to manage tasks and Confluence to report and manage statuses.
  • You'll be a good communicator able to present complex issues in a succinct and straightforward manner to various levels of the business and able to influence cross functionally at all levels to deliver customer focussed decisions.
  • You'll act as a “coach for Quality” expressing clearly the Voice of the Customer, to colleagues from different backgrounds and responsibilities, ensuring the teams/individuals understand the impact that Project actions/decisions can have in the lives of customers.
  • You'll be results and data driven with experience of working with customer and competitor insight data to help drive product decisions.
  • Ideally you will need experience of the Failure Mode Avoidance methodology (FMEAS (Design and PFMEA experience desirable), DRBFMs, risk cascades (SCSS)).
  • Travel will be required to Halewood on occassion for project purposes.
