Sm@rt is The Lead Management Product for JLR’s network of retailrs that converts customer interest in JLR products into a managed process by offering a suite of functionality to promote a Sales Lead from propect generation through to vehicle handover. Sm@rt’s functionality includes the generating the prospect details,  narrowing down the choice of vehicle from stock or configurator, arranging test drives, upselling accessories, options and services; generating quotes and finance offers; calculating local taxes,  generating customer orders and provide Retailer overall performance reports.  Sm@rt is also the method through which customer details are  updated and synced with JLR’s CRM.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

  • Liaising with European Market colleagues to develop the future road map of the product based on their market opportunites, business challenges and legislative requirements
  • Generating the Product Increment outputs and details (PI) based on the Market requirements coupled with the Commercial Straegric direction and other underpinning developments that are required to maintain Sm@rt‘s performance
  • Directing the development team by commuicating the agreed requirements, Acceptance Criteria and key priorities of the PI and assisting them to unblock any issues that are standing in their way
  • Liasing with other key deparments in JLR, within Digital, Brand teams, and leaders of the tools that integrate into Sm@rt to ensure that dependencies and joined-up deliverables are handled as part of the PI
  • Working closely with the Sm@rt BAU team to ensure that the maintenance of the product is being progressed such that key issues are being addressed in a timely manner and that product stability and integrity is secure
  • Manage the software supplier relationships that feed into Sm@rt and work with Purchasing, Digital, Legal and DPA to ensure that JLR is getting the best value, appropriate licence usage and provisions and ensuring that all risk assessments and security / data compliances are met
  • Devloping yearly resource and budget requirements to ensure that Sm@rt is appropriately resourced in terms of capacity and capability to maintain the Product’s performance and development needs. This will include raising the Purchase Orders and managing the authorisating to pay invoices
  • Working closely with Product Owners from the other related platforms to ensure that Sm@rt is in alignment with the Commerical Team’s Strategic direction and is able to benefit to developments in other products when there is a business case to support it.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas confidently
  • A strong interest and understanding of Digital Product development
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Effectiive project planning and experience of managing the work of the Supplier base
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methods 
  • Strong commercial skills to be able to manage budgets and negotiate service offerings with Suppliers
