WHAT TO EXPECT

 

This is a great opportunity to work in a small but growing team in our Electric Drive department. You will be working on in house Electric Drive Units where you will get to see these go into some of the best vehicles in the world. This role will not only give you a chance to learn and develop your knowledge of EDU’s and BEV’s but will also allow you the chance to travel overseas. The purpose of the role is to be a first point of contact and coordinate inputs from external stakeholders regarding EDU design changes and be capable of assessing the impacts on the design integration of the complete EDU and ensure designs are compatible with all stakeholder requirements.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • The purpose of the role is to be a first point of contact and coordinate inputs from external stakeholders regarding EDU design changes and be capable of assessing the impacts on the the design integration of the complete EDU and ensure designs are compatible with all stakeholder requirements.

  • Ensure all programme design solutions meet programme targets for cost and weight

  • Ensure all knowledge gained through issue resolution is captured in relevant corporate repository

  • Provide input into new feature development

 

Essential:

 

  • Previous experience of managing resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment

  • A good working knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes

  • Previous experience with development of BEV driveline systems

  • Previous experience of working with internal and external partners and ability to deal with multiple inputs and arbitrate between the requests and the deliverable output
