JOB TITLE: AAD Vehicle Test Engineer

What To Expect 


This role is within the Assisted & Automated Driving (AAD) vehicle validation team, part of Digital Platform Product (DPP). The role will focus on execution of vehicle test activities in support of attribute development and vehicle Engineering Sign-Off activities. 


What You Will Need 


Your main activities would be to carry out vehicle test activities, manage data collection with labelling and storage as well as being a part of software defect validation for a wide range of ADAS features. In addition, you will be responsible for the test case generation for the area of features validated as well as the execution of the plan for test activities according to the test method/process. You will also be responsible for the execution of the plan for defect validation along with being accountable for test equipment procurement and environment generation for test activities.  


Knowledge, skills & experience 



  • Technical expertise and experience of test facility and test property preparation 
  • Experience of validating driver assistance features at vehicle level 
  • Experienced with data acquisition tools (CANape, CANalyser, INCA, Simulink, ADTF)
  • Data analysis and reporting of test data. 
  • A full UK driving license (or EU equivalent)
