The successful candidate will be a highly motivated Business / Delivery Analyst and be an integral member of the IT Projects & Portfolio Delivery Organisation within the Vehicle Programmes Portfolio. As the Business Analyst you’ll need to support the Project Manager to oversee all the IT deliveries associated with numerous projects, working alongside the Business Relationship Leads to carryout business / application analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, technical specification documentation, problem identification and resolution during project deployment for Plant Floor and Supply Chain applications within the JLR manufacturing environment.


As the Business Analyst you’ll be expected to work across several different projects simultaneously and manage their time effectively, prioritising tasks accordingly in support of vehicle programmes at JLR.


You’ll also –


  • Engage with key project stakeholders to ensure that defined requirements are understood, are accurately documented, and fully meet the solution, time & cost requirements of the project across all affected business areas.
  • Work with Project Manager to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues.
  • Work with business owners and delivery workstreams to develop optimal solutions to meet the defined requirements.
  • Engage with Business Relationship Management to understand where step changes in technology can be introduced and included in the project.
  • Engage with project customers throughout the project to ensure agreed requirements are being met, and to define acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure early identification of requirements impact and resolution, to ensure minimal costs are incurred





You must be a proven Business Analyst with a track record of delivery (ideally in the manufacturing environment although not essential) You’ll have a methodical detailed approach to work context with strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base.
