The Jaguar Land Rover Battery Assembly Centre (BAC) is one of the company's cornerstone projects in delivering its electrification strategy. As a BAC team member, you will be playing a fundamental part in this historic change, as we will supply for the first time, both electric and hybrid electric battery packs to our vehicle plants.

Taking your place as an Outbound Shipping Analyst, you’ll be integral to the development of the Battery Assembly Centre, and our rapidly-expanding future.


You’ll support the co-ordination of the shipping function preparing loads to be dispatched to customers and to be the supplier of choice, liaising with key Jaguar Land Rover support departments and central MP&L functions to ensure Jaguar Land Rover vehicle assembly plant requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner. 
• Ensure 100% right first time adherence to schedule release and shipping standards including engineering and launch operations
• Control spares and service (aftermarket) requirements and ensure clear processes for replacement engines / parts and scheduling adjustments. 
• Ensure accurate records management and stock control to ensure robust data integrity for schedule planning




First-line support to vehicle operations scheduling and RFU (parts control) team is an integral part of the job, and candidates need to be able to demonstrate excellent use of problem solving skills & techniques. 
You’ll have an understanding of freight processes and shipping, coupled with strong numerical and analytical skills in data control and an understanding of production processes and customer requirements. An ability to work in a fast paced environment and to tight deadlines is a must, to be able to make quick accurate decisions within demanding situations. 
You’ll need a customer focused approach and the ability to multi-task; manage changing priorities whilst maintaining focus. Applications are welcomed from individuals who have experience of working in an MP&L or similar environment and experience of using SAP.
