JOB TITLE: AAD Test Environment Engineer

WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Test Environment Engineer, you will be part of our Validation and Verification Team located in Budapest. Your focus will be to support the Assisted & Automated Driving feature development and Assisted & Automated Driving feature Engineering Sign-Off activities keeping our testing assets (vehicle and HIL) on an up-to-date state.
As a Test Environment Engineer, you will:
- Support all test activities, investigations and workstreams within the AAD department
- Physically inspect/assess prototype vehicles / HIL test environments ahead of AAD team beginning any activity, with particular emphasis on
- Build specification comparison to AAD requirements in terms of software
- Confirm maturity of relevant components
- Identify any functionality issues
- Take snapshot log of all software levels
- Solve vehicle and equipment technical issues effectively and efficiently ensuring safe operational conditions of vehicles
- Support installation and configuration of test equipment
- Perform Level 0 investigations on all AAD local fleet vehicle issues and HIL environment

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
As well as having passion for our world class products, you have:
- Experience of component, system and vehicle-level issue investigations
- General and practical understanding of test systems
- Practical understanding of In-Car Networks, Diagnostics and Software Download
- Automotive industry experience in vehicle integration or electrical troubleshooting, preferably in ADAS, Chassis or Powertrain environment
- Technical expertise and experience of test facility and test property preparation
- Driving license (valid in the EU) no penalty points, no disqualification, accident-free record
- Analytical thinking
- Problem solving attitude
It will be considered as a plus, if you have:
- Experience with data acquisition tools (CANape, CANoe, VehicleSpy, INCA, ADTF, etc.)
- Six Sigma, Black Belt and Green Belt Training and certification
- Knowledge in any programming / scripting language (C/C++, python, Java, or similar)
