JOB TITLE: Systems & Software Delivery Manager
LOCATION: Budapest

Chassis is responsible for the design, development and integration of all chassis functions from Programme Start to Job1 across all vehicle platforms. Chassis functions include all the functions related within the chassis domain of the vehicle: brakes, stability control, steering, suspension, longitudinal or lateral control, etc.


The Motion Systems, Software & Integration team design, develop and validate systems and software that delivers the functional requirements of the vehicle programmes. You’ll manage the Hungary team that will support the successful delivery of supporting systems.


The vacancy offers the opportunity to work on, and contribute to the delivery of state-of-the-art automotive chassis engineering technologies such as Active Suspension Systems, Software Quality, Vehicle state Estimation, Functional Safety, Cyber Security, Vehicle Motion Control, development, test and release.




•    Responsible for the line management of a team, including setting objectives, measuring and managing performance, professional development including appraisals and other reviews

•    The primary responsibility is to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of Motion Systems, Software & Integration within the Hungary Team 

•    Development and delivery of software solutions in accordance to the sub-system and software design specification to meet the defined customer requirements, owning technical approval of software platform, standards and processes





•    Create delivery plans in line with technical strategy, including strategic technology development 
•    Responsible to ensure cross-functional technical design reviews are performed on the software
•    Ensure software is created and validated according to the appropriate design and validation standards
•    Ensure that process, ways-of-working, tooling, software development, verification and training is delivered as one cohesive solution; including adherence to those processes


•    Manage the interface with all aspects of the company including Systems Engineering teams, Vehicle Engineering, Software Capability and Software Leadership teams
•    Plan and develop necessary skills and resources including training, coaching and recruitment of the team
•    Ensure team adherence to the use of specified engineering methods, computer tools and aids applied 




•    Experience of working with software control systems

•    Strong leadership skills
•    Experience of real time (time triggered, event triggered and hybrid) embedded system design.
•    Ability to conduct Simulink Model and C-Code reviews to MISRA modelling & C guidelines
•    Ability to conduct software risk assessment based upon static & dynamic code analysis
•    Knowledge of unit & integration test case generation principles and methods of execution
•    Ability to author & review concise and valuable process documentation (written skills / technical English)
•    An appreciation for safety-critical design principles / processes that ensure robust software quality

•    Experience in delivering programme and change management activities, ensuring high quality software

•    Experience leading robust software development, ideally embedded, within a mature production-capable process environment, in either a technical lead or software project management capacity
