The role involves the use of various test facilities, rig setups, and equipment to ensure that test methods, boundary conditions, and influencing factors are controlled to deliver efficient test outcomes in terms of cost, time, and quality. The position includes responsibility for coordinating test facilities globally, leading meetings, and providing technical direction to ensure tests are conducted as required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Deliver EDU functional, durability, and attribute validation testing through the full process, ensuring activities
are completed on schedule and meet required data quality standards.
• Prepare detailed test plans aligned with hardware availability, logistics, test duration, teardown
requirements, reporting, programme milestones, and engineering sign-off dates. Maintain and communicate
accurate plans to relevant JLR stakeholders.
• Lead Kick-Off Meetings with test facilities, prepare test documentation, and ensure tests follow the Design
Verification Method (DVM).
• Review and approve test schedules, understand alarm tables and boundary conditions, and ensure tests are
executed to correct procedures and operating conditions to produce accurate, high-quality data.
• Conduct test data analysis and post-processing to confirm compliance with verification methods and
acceptance criteria.

• Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including the creation and maintenance of relevant JLR
standards (TPJLR / STJLR).
• Ensure utilisation metrics are completed accurately and shared appropriately.
• Produce technical reports for DV tests to support component and system engineering sign-off and
communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure all DV tests are conducted safely and in accordance with JLR Health & Safety policies.
• Support technical reviews and contribute to issue resolution using established JLR quality tools (AIMS/8D).
• Interface effectively with internal and external customers, suppliers, and partners, resolving conflicts and
escalating issues when required.
• Provide clear reporting of functional status for allocated systems to support overall DVP and engineering
sign-off.
• Manage EDU prototype hardware and end-to-end test execution, including BOM verification,
instrumentation, parameter checks, test start-up, in-test monitoring, end-of-test checks, and teardown.
