An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Software Verification Process Engineer to join our growing team in Hungary. Chassis Motion Control System (C&MCS) is part of Body and Chassis Commodity Group, in Product Engineering. You will be part of the Software Intensive System - Center of Excellence Team in C&MCS, designing and implementing safe, deterministic software and ISO26262 compliant processes for our Autonomous, Connected, Electric and Shared architecture of the future.

As a Lead Software Verification Process Engineer, you will be working on innovative, high-profile projects within our growing portfolio of products, within C&MCS. You will be working to further improve our embedded, safety-critical software verification processes that demonstrate the completeness and correctness of our control and monitoring systems software.



The Lead Software Verification Process Engineer will be responsible for defining software verification plan, detailed methodologies, training that meet the requirements of software intensive, safety critical control systems. You will also work alongside the software process owner, defining ways of working, processes and software tooling.

You will be expected to contribute in defining change management, configuration management, software development and software verification strategies, etc. You will be expected to support the Software Architect and Software Process Owner / QA in wider business discussion, training, process definition and technical documentation.



•    Support the development and execution of the software verification strategy, plan and new verification capabilities
•    Ensure efficient use of static and dynamic testing and analysis techniques to provide complete verification coverage of our software products

•    Provide technical leadership to teams and projects, technical direction to peers and mentoring to more junior professionals
•    Working closely with the Software Capability Leadership team - participating in global process standardisation and business-wide improvements
•    Ensure continuous improvement compliant with ISO26262, actively participate in audits 
•    Support software verification and tool qualification strategies (termed “plans” by ISO26262)

•    Engage with software and hardware suppliers to meet system requirements and to acquire new technologies including embedded software verification tools 
•    Work productively as part of a scrum team within an Agile framework, contributing fully to the goals set by the team, ensuring the team is able to deliver what it commits




•    Strong experienced across the domains of software verification (Component Test, Software-Software Integration, Hardware Software Integration, Static and Dynamic Analysis) in different environments (Target hardware both on ECU and Processor, Simulator or Emulator and Models simulation)

•    Experience in Software development and verification using Simulink
•    Good knowledge of C/C++ coding 
•    Experience with designing and developing safety-critical software

•    Experience working in Agile and Scrum software development methodologies

•    Degree level qualified ideally in relevant discipline e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience, with significant industrial and technology productionisation experience preferred

•    Fluency in English



•    Prior knowledge/experience working with software Quality Management Systems
•    Experience in creating formal documentation using of tools as DOORS, Dassualt TRM

•    Experience working in multi-discipline teams (Electrical, Mechanical, Control and Hardware)
