JOB TITLE: Test Engineer

LOCATION: Budapest

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Formal sign-off the technical elements of their system or attribute
• Develop the DVP (Design Validation Plan) to ensure robust delivery of the mechatronics embedded software
• Perform bench electrical/communication testing of the mechatronics software ( e.g. creating and executing test cases, analysing results, reporting defects, and managing their resolution with JLR and supplier stakeholders)
• Generate test reports upon test completion
• Develop and automated test suite and perform regression tests
• Handle software defect management using JLR-defined toolchain (e.g. Jira, RTC, etc.)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• University degree
• Experience in the delivery, testing, and engineering sign-off of embedded software, covering the entire development process
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and C++, with a strong aptitude for problem solving and analytical thinking
• Hands-on experience on ETAS INCA, Vector CANalyser/CANoe, Hardware in Loop (HIL) simulation, testing, and automation
• Experience of automotive communications protocols, including at the implementation level
• A good communicator with the ability to clearly communicate and explain complex ideas
