JLR is revolutionising the way it plans and manages its end-to-end Supply Chain, working to improve lead times and offer increased flexibility to customers. Right at the heart of this are the Operations & Logistics teams, responsible for the execution of the core Supply Chain & Logistics processes and systems that ensure efficient, on-time delivery of parts to our plants right through delivery of finished vehicles to our retailers and customers.
Working as a SAP Packing Process Senior Engineer within the Imports & Exports - KD team, you will be leading the Operations & Logistics teams through digital transformation, delivering products and services that drive competitive advantage and efficiency by reducing costs, improving delivery performance, creating value and driving profitable growth for the teams.
You will be leading the end-to-end implementation of data analytics and digital tools within JLR Logistics Operations, using data to deliver business improvements and create value. Including the project management of significant and complex change programmes across the Operations & Logistics Team working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will manage this technology-enabled change, drawing on your Supply Chain & Logistics domain knowledge and data & analytics expertise. A Customer First mindset is paramount, and you will always ensure that the products you deliver are tailored to the needs of your stakeholders.

- Requirements gathering across the Operations & Logistics Teams – analysing pain points within existing processes and systems, identifying improvement opportunities and project scoping.
- Project prioritisation – maintain catalogue of functional projects, ensuring they are prioritised for delivery based on latest data and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Grow and develop class leading Analytics skills in a dynamic and complex environment.
Define and maintain Data Analytics Strategy and Strategic Roadmap for Operations and Logistics - Project manage strategic analytics projects – running workshops with operational and technical stakeholders, leading project governance reviews ensuring milestones are met.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
- Experience working in the Supply Chain / Logistics sector/ Operational experience.
- Working knowledge and experience of Logistics systems including SAP, MRP / ERP, warehouse management, data management and simulation, E2E connected supply chain.
- Problem-solving skills with a structured approach to identifying, analysing, and resolving challenges efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, taking full ownership and responsibility for own work; fully invested in achieving a successful result.
- You view things as a team rather than individual project level, considering the wider team needs.
