This role is primarily conducting corporate audits to evaluate the adequacy of the business through risk management and data analysis. In this role you’ll support the Senior Audit Analytics Manager – Audit Transformation in deploying a new data analytics strategy for Corporate Audit.


You may also be responsible for assisting in corporate investigations and ad-hoc special audit projects.


Your key responsibilities are to work on audits by identifying issues quickly and to provide innovative solutions to the issues, whilst supporting the development of the annual audit risk assessment working with senior management.


In this role you'll assist in identifying new and emerging risks and factor these into the audit planning and scope, and rollout training to the wider team.


Data analytics transformation activities within Corporate Audit is also a key part of this role.


You’ll also be responsible for the delivery of analytics tasks and development of analytical models to ensure timely completion of the allocated audit assignments, and deliver Audit Reports, ensuring reports are designed for functional management with clear action plans, identified owners and dates for delivery.




As the Corporate Auditor you’ll need to have the ability to identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions, a proactive and creative approach to problem solving, a computing background with programming experience working with complex databases, and have a relevant degree or equivalent experience.


You’ll also have experience of using data analytics tools within a corporate environment.


Finally, experience of internal or external audits is preferable, however not vital.
