JOB TITLE: Diagnostics Systems Engineer

SALARY: £45,000-£50,000

In your new role as Diagnostics Systems Engineer, you’ll be the Author and update diagnostics standards and requirements in support of current and new strategies. You’ll be responsible for the delivery of current and future diagnostics strategy onto all programmes, in line with the Systems Engineering discipline outlined by Product Creation Systems. You’ll work with Technical Specialists and Research Engineering on Attribute and Function Forward Strategies, including new Function Definition and Failure Mode Avoidance in addition provide technical support and assistance across the operational team on topics relating to current and future diagnostics strategy.


This role will provide you with great opportunities to work across projects, boundaries, borders and structures to enable lifelong learning so that you can be the best version of you. You’ll also be at the forefront of helping us create a safer, cleaner and a smarter connected future.





To succeed in your new role, you’ll need a sound technical knowledge of key automotive diagnostics standards specifically UDS, transport protocols, calibration standards. You’ll have experience in specification authoring and requirement generation from concept design. You’ll A sound experience in software development and knowledge of various software architecture including

Autosar and non-Autosar platforms. In addition you’ll have a track record as an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
