JOB TITLE: Finance Apprenticeship - Level 7
POSTING END DATE: 31/12/20 

Programme Duration – 4 years 

Qualification – CIMA / CGMA accountancy qualification 

Location: West Midlands 

Salary – Circa £20,000

Finance


Joining the Finance Apprenticeship Scheme could involve diverse roles within Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Accounts Payable, Commercial, Business Assurance, Supplier Risk and Tax.

 

Each role will provide you with the opportunity to grow your finance and commercial skills at the same time as growing your analytical abilities. You’ll work towards your apprenticeship whilst rotating around some of our sites in core areas within Finance and studying through day release to reach the Strategic Level of the CIMA / CGMA accountancy qualification. 

 

To become a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), you need a minimum of three years verified relevant work-based practical experience, which we will support you to achieve in your early career.


The Apprenticeship


You’ll undertake a modern apprenticeship at BPP to the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) standards. This exciting programme will develop your skills and knowledge required for your role. This is all achieved whilst developing your behaviours, as we are not just interested in what you accomplish, but the manner in which you do it.
 
As well as gaining commercial and professional experience, you’ll also achieve academic and vocational qualifications, such as: Accountancy or Taxation Professional Level 7 Apprenticeship (includes CIMA Accountancy qualification up to the Strategic Level).

 

Plus an MSc in Accounting and Finance top up depending on business demand/approval and individual performance.

 

To become a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), you need a minimum of three years verified relevant work-based practical experience, which we will support you to achieve in your early career.

 

What’s required


To be eligible for our Finance degree apprenticeship programme you will need to demonstrate a passion for finance and strong motivation for the role. You will also need to meet our academic entry criteria:
3 A Levels at Grade B or above, one of which must in a numerical or business-related subject. We will accept Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Studies or Accounting.

 

Level 3 AAT will be considered alongside 2 A levels at grade B or above or a Level 4 AAT qualification.


You’ll also need Maths GCSE at level 6 (Grade B) or higher; English Language at grade level 6 (Grade B) or higher and three additional GCSEs at level 4 (Grade C) or higher.
