WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Chassis and Mtion Control Systems team is primarily responsible for developing and delivering features such as electronically controlled suspension, electronic brake control, active steering controllers, active driveline controllers and configurable vehicle dynamics features, and covers all aspects of the design from requirements to implementation.

 

As Lead Control System Integration Engineer, you’ll lead the integration of Chassis Suspension Control Systems into ECUs (Electronic Control Unit), vehicles, rigs and virtual environments within a team specialising in the creation and deployment of chassis control functions.

 

You’ll play a key role in integrating model-based control functions into high level executables, auto code generation for prototype ECU’s (Electronic Control Unit),  testing and de-bugging in virtual and physical environments.

 

As we continue to expand across the world, you’ll continue to expand as part of this growing department. In addition you’ll, have the opportunity to progress and gain wider view of the vehicle design and assembly covering all architectures. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As an experienced Lead Control System Integration Engineer, you’ll have extensive MatLab Simulink experience, along with experience in:

 

•    Model based control function development 
•    Following software applications; CANApe, ControlDesk
•    Chassis control systems, actuators and sensors

 

You’ll work independently to solve complex technical issues using a structured approach and identify areas for improvement. Ideally, you’ll be educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related subject.
