Join the elite Bespoke team within JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), where craftsmanship meets creativity. This is not your typical paint sprayer role - you’ll work on highly customised, one-of-a-kind vehicles, often seeing the full build come together. WHAT TO EXPECT
In this role, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team responsible for preparing, painting, and polishing bespoke vehicles to the highest standards. You’ll work on unique projects, including VIP one-of-one commissions, where attention to detail and pride in your work are paramount.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

- Full cleaning and preparation of panels, including masking prior to paint application
- Paint mixing and application to the highest standards, including Gloss, Satin & Matte finishes
- Polishing of bodies and plastics to mirror finish and WCPA standards
- Painting non-commissioned, one-of-one bespoke vehicles
- Working on non-standard production vehicles with unique specifications
- Full adherence to Health & Safety and 5S standards while undertaking paint shop tasks

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a passion for quality. You’ll need to be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a drive to deliver excellence on every project.

- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Automotive/Engineering discipline such as Accident Repair, Body and/or Paint competencies
- Proven experience in body and plastic preparation, paint application, and polishing
- Strong problem-solving skills in technical paint application and repair processes
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support and learn from others
- Experience in painting and preparing vehicles to show car standards
