WHAT TO EXPECT
Within Commercial Customer Services, After Market Parts Supply Chain are responsible for the strategic planning, release, pricing, revenue generation and supply of service parts and accessories for the Global Land Rover and Jaguar sales network.

 

Within After Market Parts Supply Chain, the Parts 2020 Programme is about half-way through an exciting transformation journey to scale both its business and IT operations for the expected growth in the parts business.  In addition the area is moving towards strategic portfolio management of change initiatives to support activities beyond Parts 2020. 
Reporting to the Programme Management Office Manager your role will work alongside other PMO team members to act as a central point for co-ordination of project delivery across the Parts 2020 programme and the wider portfolio.

 

The purpose of your role is to provide support to the PARTS 2020 Programme and the new Portfolio framework in a number of areas; active support and deputising for project managers of specific large projects including collaboration with cross-functional teams, drafting documentation, updating logs and ensuring that best practice is followed and lessons are captured, communicated and embedded for use in other projects.  Your role will also involve assisting with management of the SCM Portfolio especially the design and change submission process.

 

We're looking for someone who is proactive with a positive attitude, who is literate (able to write credible documents and presentations) and numerate (confident with dealing with figures) and is able to get on with people at all levels.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
It’s essential that you have previous experience of working in a Project Support / Project Coordination role with a good understanding of project management principles. You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills and possess a proactive nature, self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative.
You’ll also need;
•    Ability to balance priorities and deadlines
•    High level of attention to detail
•    Experience with Microsoft Office suite for collaborative working
•    Experience of using project planning tools
