The Service Market Development team is an integral part of the Revenue and Loyalty department within the Global Customer Service division of Commercial.
Tyres, Oil and Consumables have an integral part to play within the Service Market Development department. The department is responsible for delivering tyre programmes globally (winter, summer & off-road), winter wheels and managing the Global engine oil contract as well as being responsible for generating revenue opportunities from consumables, such as Ad-Blue and car-care products.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Project Lead Consumables is accountable for the development and implementation of a global tyre programme & strategy that will deliver incremental revenue & margin for the business, and support increasing service retention.
• Lead the development & implementation of a global tyre programme & strategy that will deliver incremental revenue & margin for the business, and support increasing service retention
• On-going management of the aftermarket tyre business including information availability, new vehicle and product launch processes, market sales reporting & performance management
• Sales performance management to grow the market share in all global regions
• Leading an annual oil programme marketing budget & plan approval process, and associated governance reviews with all regions
• Lead the annual Winter Wheels programme, bringing together a cross-functional stakeholder group (engineering, SCM, Pricing, regions)
• Lead the development & implementation of a comprehensive strategy for a global Car-Care product category & programme that will deliver incremental revenue/margin.
• Delivery of a new product category of vehicle protection products
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You'll be highly organised and detailed in planning. You’ll be a skilled, effective multitasker and be able to deliver results under pressure. You’ll have a high level of attention to detail with an organised mind-set.
• Programme leadership skills - leading multiple cross-functional groups across the different programmes
• Technical knowledge and/or experience in the tyres and/or oil categories - key aftermarket interface with engineers & suppliers
• Supplier negotiations and relationships skills - key aftermarket contact for multiple suppliers
• Project management skills
• Commercial acumen - leading key commercial programmes, and understanding & utilising key levers to drive performance
• Excel and data analysis skills
