JOB TITLE: Senior Finance Analyst
SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000
POSTING END DATE: 18/02/19
LOCATION: Coventry, Warwickshire

Beyond Property, Purchasing, HR and IT, more than being part of our Finance or Marketing teams, beyond even Sales and Service, every role in every business area offers unique opportunities to make an impact on the future of mobility and the automotive industry.

WHAT TO EXPECT

An exciting opportunity for you to join the Accounting Team for Group Reporting, where you’ll be supporting the Accounting Manager. You’ll have the ability to work at a transactional level with strong attention to detail, whilst also demonstrating a good understanding of the underlying accounting principles driving the systems and processes.  Development and improvement of all aspects of functions will require support as new system solutions are introduced.

As the first point of contact, you’ll improve the quality of financial reporting for the global National Sales Companies (NSC’s) and the UK functional reporting teams into the central Accounting function. Using your insights and expertise, you’ll identify key risks and ensure monthly and quarterly compliance processes are adhered to and deliver statutory account audits.

Using your excellent interpersonal skills, regular contact with the wider business will be key to collate information to support accounting adjustments as well as the Technical Accounting and Group Consolidation to meet IFRS reporting requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As the Senior Finance Analyst you’ll be fully qualified with a relevant professional Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), and possess strong systems experience, particularly with SAP. You’ll also need to be highly driven, with a proactive approach. You’ll take good interpersonal skills to a new level by demonstrating a naturally engaging and persuasive style which, paired with enthusiasm, will allow you to make an impact across the wider finance community. Using these skills, you will have the ability to present information clearly to different levels of management.

Additionally, you’ll have strong business partnering skills where you can effectively build and nurture relationships with senior management, along with colleagues outside of finance.  You’ll need to have the ability to independently challenge existing thinking in a positive way, whilst building credibility and trust.

Additionally, you’ll need:

• Supervisory experience
• Strong control and governance skills
• To travel overseas

Jaguar Land Rover considers that this role does not meet the criteria to be considered within the Home Office Shortage Occupation list.  Therefore, Jaguar Land Rover will not support an application for visa sponsorship and all applicants for this role must have an unrestricted right to work for an indefinite period in the UK.

SO WHY US?

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
