You’ll be working with the eMachine Design Group Leader within the Powertrain Engineering team. This team are responsible for the design, development and release of traction electric machines as part of a wider electrification programme. Electric machines are either being developed in-house or specified in collaboration with suppliers for future PHEV as well as BEV applications.


As the eMachine Delivery & Release Engineer, you will lead the activities required to deliver eMachines for future BEV and PHEV programs. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the suppliers involved in providing the different eMachine components. You’ll be leading program delivery gateways for eMachine in addition to developing and maintaining necessary timing plans. In addition, you’ll be supporting sourcing and cost activities.


You’ll be reporting status to the program teams and ensuring KPI’s are maintained and kept up to date.

You’ll be required to work very closely with key suppliers so will need to have excellent communication and presentation skills. You’ll have demonstrable and extensive experience in supplier management and will have very good skills in project planning. You’ll also have experience in risk and KPI Management. Technical knowledge of Electric Machines is also essential.


The ideal candidate would be an experienced user of CCDS and APQP processes. You may also have experience of PPAP processes and knowledge of Smartsheet software.


You’ll have a strong customer first mind set and be easy to do business with. You’ll naturally be driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable.


You’ll be results driven and have a passion for continuous improvement, while being capable of following accurate and robust working practices.
