WHAT TO EXPECT  

 

This role will be responsible for design and development of Project and BAU changes to JLR’s implementation of Oracle EPM. Working within the EPM CoE, you will liaise with key stakeholders to gather requirements or understand the problem statement, design a solution, then work with CoE colleagues to build, test and finally implement. 

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain the JLR EPM landscape ensuring rules stay efficient and fit for purpose. 

  • Maintain and extend interfaces to / from / within the EPM toolset. 

  • Lead the development of project change and extend application rules in BSO / MDX and Groovy to keep up with business feature demand and to maintain or improve system performance. 

  • Support the business to include translation of business issues and requirements into system solution designs.  

  • Manage the solution to ensure robust financial reporting and variance analysis of actuals, budget, forecast and business plan into business operations.  

  • Provide analytical and project management support with specific ownership for the development and implementation of application and process change 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

 

  • Proven track record working with Oracle EPM Planning (PBCS, ePBCS).  

  • Ability to design and build custom BSO rules for Essbase/PBCS / Planning Cloud. 

  • Strong programming skills in Groovy or related language. 

  • Extensive experience administering a Planning, HFM PBCS / FCCS environment, including using EPM Automate 

  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to challenge and embed key processes 

  • Experience using relational database and/or BigQuery database for data storage and reporting.
