WHAT TO EXPECT

Trading Division Imports are responsible for procuring and in-source logistics of material from China & India.
As a Commercial Analyst you will be required to act as a central point of contact for JLR Procurement supporting in the sourcing of material from JLRs Rest of the World Suppliers. Along with co-ordination for ongoing price changes and to define requirements for new business opportunities.

A strong Customer First focus is required to support the Strategy Buyers during nomination and Regional Delivery Buyers to ensure flawless launch

• Support creation, delivery and execution of TD Imports programme plans.
• Support Planning and organising of the project and operational meetings for the area.
• Support knowledge and lessons transfer across the Purchasing Function.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working on programmes across commodity group(s) and define best practices.
• Assist in the reporting of key programme metrics as defined by the area.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills you'll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

• Demonstrable experience of or a knowledge of Purchasing or Supply Chain processes.
• Experience of metric and reporting delivery to support programme delivery.
• Stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence people, whether from across the business or externally.
