What to expect


You’ll be part of the Engineering team based in DMO department. As a data modeller, you’ll be responsible for the modelling of design solutions from inputs including but not limited to CAS, ICEM and studio engineering data, releasing of parts into various manufacturing routes within DMO team and externally across all Jaguar and Land Rover products.



What you’ll need


For this role, you’ll need previous experience in engineering design solutions to complex requests, alongside previous model design experience (Show cars, CDRMs, C&M bucks). Alongside this, it’s essential that you:



  • Have a working knowledge of Design Engineering
  • Have knowledge of model design
  • Possess excellent organisational and business interface skills
  • Hold a customer mind-set
  • Are Catia V5 proficient.
  • Are Teamcentre proficient.
  • Have knowledge of engineering BOM



It’s also desirable that you demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence change, alongside mould tool design, GRP panel design, knowledge of fixing methodologies and knowledge of BOM based parts listing and family trees.



You’ll be an individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable, whilst also being an individual who is results driven with the ability to deliver data targets in a highly demanding environment. Holding the ability to prioritise their work load, the ability to concisely communicate complex ideas, alongside being an effective team player are all important to this role.


This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office.
