WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Business Process and Capability Manager within the Digital Supply Chain team. You will work as part of a team of flourishing subject matter experts, each responsible for a process area. Each expert providing specific knowledge in order to advance the speed, flexibility, and quality of the end-to-end supply chain.

 

Within this role, you will drive the urgent delivery / implementation of our current technology plan for each capability with the Digital Product Owner.  Develop, maintain and justify the backlog for solution development, prioritised against each capabilities’ release. Define and deploy best practice, processes, training and skills which will rapidly transform our planning processes. Taking ownership of internal maturity score (Gartner and similar). You will develop our people, our processes, our data and our tools to deliver capabilities that drive our business forward to improve our planning precision and deliver amazing ‘moment of truth’ planning outcomes for our customers, ultimately to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. Engage and manage key stakeholders including business functions, Digital and external providers

 

Taking resposnsiblity for organising and monitoring capability feedback through key user forums and develop capability improvement plans. With the Digital Product Managers, define the data requirements, cleanliness, hosting and access such that citizen analytics and skills are available. Ensure all solution documentation and training remains complete and accurate, you will have authority for final signoff post QA and UAT.

 

The team is Whitley and Gaydon based, with members of the team expected on site as needed (typically 60%). The role anticipates minimal travel.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Mastery of end-to-end supply chain processes and their functioning in day-to-day
  • Take ownership for the maturity and health of the level 2 area; accountability for its’ successes and failures
  • Enjoys collaboration beyond the traditional boundaries, with an eye towards delivering value for JLR
  • Creating delivery plans to deploy new capabilities incl. Business process adaption, user acceptance testing, typical day workflows towards target operating models

Desirable:

  • Skilled in driving progress within level 2 area whilst ensuring coherence within the end-to-end supply chain value stream
  • Comfortable animating cross functional groups to provoke the best outcome
  • Seeks clarity and documents action plans with clear action leaders and deadlines, hold self and others accountable to task
