WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As the Product owner you’ll be responsible for leading agile transformation of the team as part of the Platform Integration Group and Digital Delivery Platform Domain. In your new role will manage the setting of SMART objectives for the team of engineers – agreeing the content, measurement and evaluation of delivery objectives twice yearly. Along with existing Integration Leaders, you’ll drive and develop skills plans to maintain an appropriate level of expertise and account for new technologies as the business requires.

 

You will be also responsible for:

 

•    Ensuring software releases are tested to requirements and levels of quality expected before release.
•    Confirming Electrical System changes and develop plans to ensure features are delivered to meet milestones.
•    Producing an aligned approved SW/HW configuration cross carline at a regular cadence.
•    Reducing complexity through the use of the DDP toolset, test automation and true prevent re-occurrence.
•    Supporting Electrical Program and Launch team as required.
•    Liaising with Project Teams to support Vehicle Builds & investigate issues on fleet vehicles via VOR process.
•    Managing any functional integration issues to a resolution.
•    Supporting and driving quality and efficiency improvements across the departments.

 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Essentials:

 

•    Detailed understanding of Electrical Architecture, including all five viewpoints – Network Architecture, Software Architecture, Power Architecture, Hardware Architecture, and Wiring Architecture.
•    Detailed understanding of software development and releasing processes
•    Ability to manage a large number of affected stakeholders across the business and help them to work collaboratively.
•    Proven ability to deliver large complex electrical system design projects on time with high quality.
•    Knowledge of the Prototype manufacturing process(M1/FIS/VB).
•    Knowlegde of Production manufacturing processes (VCATS/IVS/LQOS33).
•    An excellent understanding of the EVA Architecture.
•    A mind for improvement of process and a drive to understand and overcome challenges.
•    A high level of IT literacy and desire to continue to learn new data tools and skills.
