We have an excellent opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to become part of the Global Enterprise Architecture team. The individual will be responsible for creating the Enterprise Architecture, while partnering across domain portfolios.
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for providing the views of strategic change that show the transition from current to future operating models, combining both technology and business drivers, so that the right portfolio of investment projects can be designed and executed to achieve the strategic vision of the company.

Build a trusted partner relationship with key stakeholders to accelerate the business and technology transformation.
-
Translate business strategy into high level technology components, in alignment with the technology strategy.
-
Provide guidance to product and platform teams to implement scalable, reliable, and secure platforms, as a composable architecture that stands the test of technology variability.
-
Maintain the enterprise ’helicopter view’ of the strategic portfolio and assess the high-level architecture of all major investment initiatives. Identify opportunities for reuse and highlight risks caused by unmanaged gaps, dependencies, and duplications.
-
Propose scenarios to remediate where needed and develop architecture principles and guardrails for future guidance.
-
Succeed with application modernisation and consolidation, and using value driven approaches to prioritise and motivate change in the application landscape on a global scale (within and across distributed sites)
-
Drive the transition from a monolithic landscape to decoupled service-based architectures.
-
Drive the application landscape transformation with Cloud technologies (distributed internet-scale architectures for Microservices, APIs, Event Driven Architecture, Serverless architecture, Caching etc.)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Essential
-
Proven experience of successful delivery of large complex programmes and ability to communicate and demonstrate the value of the change to key stakeholders in both the business and technology functions.
-
Understanding of the vision and challenges of moving from a landscape of on-prem monoliths to a cloud-native architecture, composed of decoupled services leveraging a common data fabric.
-
Proven experience of legacy modernisation and decomposing of monoliths into microservice based architectures.
-
Experience of cloud native and 12 factor application design and knowledge and awareness of open-source and inner-source approaches.
-
Build consensus across a large and often diverse group of stakeholders, ensuring stakeholder interests are identified and addressed in the development of the strategic roadmaps.
-
Understanding of change management on a global scale across multiple functions - using a value driven approach and an understanding of end-to-end impact.
-
Keen interest in technology industry trends and potential to translate into business value and can work across multiple complex and enterprise-wide projects simultaneously.
