JOB TITLE: Feature Integration & Domain Leader
SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000

Developing and delivering a comprehensive and aligned strategy for the PT Software and Controls department, this role will work on Feature delivery and Domain governance for the Propulsion System domain.



  • Lead feature delivery for the Propulsion domain, including:
    • Coordination of Ideas into the Idea Approval process.
    • Creation and maintenance of the Feature delivery plan for all features and variants
    • Ownership of the Feature development strategy for Propulsion
    • Alignment of Propulsion feature content in the appropriate business tool(s)


  • Own and run the Propulsion domain governance forum.
  • Interface with the Programme teams, Group-level squads and Product Owners to ensure Feature delivery timing and ownership is understood by all and expectations are well managed.
  • To enable Feature delivery, ensure the Propulsion Integration teams are set up for success to track SW through to delivery (the right work requests raised etc).
  • Represent the propulsion domain in cross domain tasks; calling on System and Feature owners for detail where required.
  • Serve as support provider when issues arise with Feature delivery.
  • Mentor and coach other members of the team to help build a world class capability in control system development.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and methodologies to support the delivery of Propulsion Features.





  • Broad knowledge of Powertrain Features, controls and software.
  • Experience of delivering complex supervisory systems, ideally vehicle and/or Powertrain systems
  • Experience in Feature delivery using the Jaguar Landrover Systems Engineering process
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Self-starter with strong ability to find ways through problems and drive consensus among a varied stakeholder group.


  • Workflow management in RTC / JIRA or similar tool.
  • Requirements/test management in DOORS/RTC.
  • Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Delivery of Engineering and or analytical projects preferably within the automotive industry
  • Experience of solving complex technical issues using a structured approach with the ability to identify areas for improvement
