WHAT TO EXPECT
As HV System Quality Lead within the High Voltage Team, you will play a crucial role in this historic transformation, as we will be providing market leading both electric and hybrid electric vehicles.
This is a thrilling time to be part of JLR as it undergoes the most significant shift in vehicle manufacturing in a generation.
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions. Adopt and support a structured problem-solving approach on various issue.
- Ensure proper documentation of quality processes and compliance with relevant standard.
- Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure compliance.
- Replicate the HV quality issue on the vehicle and document the test results
- Lead and mentor junior quality engineers.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
The purpose of this role is to streamline all aspects of BEV and PHEV product development issue resolution and to use the lessons learned to enhance our product design to the highest quality.
- Extensive working knowledge of CAN analyser, CAN Tools, Data loggers, Data analysis tools.
- Previous experience of working with High Voltage systems, HV components and control calibration SW awareness ideally relating to PHEV & BEV.
- Experienced in interacting and influencing across the wider business
- Ability to manage multiple assignments & projects with cross-functional teams.
- High drive, self-motivated, ability to deliver with minimal supervision and ability to work remotely from support team but keep focused and deliver required actions/ improvements.
- Experienced using IQM, AIMS, JIRA, Six sigma Green belt & other reporting tools.
