Jaguar Land Rover is paving the way with initiatives to improve the customer experience through the use of vehicle data to manage, update and improve the car. We are looking for a security analyst, with experience of threat and risk analysis, to join the team and play an integral role in continuing to manage and develop our connected diagnostics in a secure way. This exiting role will support one of our agile teams focussed on rapidly deploying new services to the customer and be a part of a wider vehicle cyber security group ensuring the resilience and compliance of all our customer products.


You will be responsible for timely analysis of information systems to identify risks, identification, review and specification of security technologies needed to protect Jaguar Land Rover and customers for specific vehicle / connected systems and working with a range of stakeholders to understand and model information flows and the properties of these flows. You will also collaborate with your local and wider teams to deliver Jaguar Land Rover’s overall objectives in an agile way, delivering a cyber security assurance case meeting emerging regulations for the connected products in your areas of responsibilities. You will be accountable for engaging with cyber security and functional safety experts across the business to improve the overall cyber security posture of the company and drive towards the overall cyber security strategy.




You will require an academic qualification e.g MSc in cyber security or equivalent experience, and a demonstrable knowledge of software engineering methods and processes. You will also possess an understanding of at least one of the following: embedded software, networking and cloud computing, and the deployment of security in these environments and the ability to engineer in a way that is demonstrably compliant with standards and technical specifications.


The below would be considered nice to haves:

  • Experience working and delivering in an agile team

  • Experience of model based engineering

  • Project management skills
