Corporate Security & Business Protection has responsibility for establishing the policies designed to protect JLR assets. The most precious of those are our People.
In protecting our People, Physical and Digital assets, Security and Emergency Operations must promptly respond to any call that might jeopardise this, protecting our business continuity and profitability of the company.

 

This role will be based at one of the JLR sites in the West Midlands.


WHAT TO EXPECT


In this role and across both day and night 12hr shifts, no two tasks are the same. The role interacts with diverse, cross-functional people and projects to keep JLR safe and secure. Across both day and night 12hr shifts, there will be opportunities to build a strong network across the business and beyond. Here is what you will be doing:

 

  • Delivering security, fire, medical and environmental emergency response capabilities, maintaining all required competencies
  • Protecting people, property and assets through effective security operations, surveillance, and incident response
  • Acting as part of the operational team, completing preventative audits, patrols, equipment checks and routine maintenance.
  • Operating the control room, managing incident reporting, and maintaining accurate records in line with RMP & GDPR requirements
  • Conducting investigations, producing clear written reports, and consulting with internal teams and external agencies
  • Communicating effectively across the business, supporting cohesive team delivery and high-quality customer service
     


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, here are a selection of the key skills you will need to help you succeed, including:

 

  • Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written
  • Experience in working in fast paced, customer focussed environments with a passion for positively promoting an inclusive and psychologically safe experience
  • Strong stakeholder management with a history of negotiating and influencing at all levels in both the public and business environment
  • Strong IT competence with MS Office applications and ability to work with internal software packages
  • A full and valid UK Driving License
