You will play a key role in understanding how our vehicles perform in the field, ensuring issues are resolved with care, curiosity and technical rigour. WHAT TO EXPECT
- Analyse, triage and resolve ADAS related customer vehicle issues using structured problem solving and data driven insight
- Manage quality issues from first identification through to closure, ensuring timely progression in line with business targets
- Contribute to ADAS quality metrics including repairs per thousand, roadside assistance cases, Technical Assist response times and Critical Concern resolution
- Lead quality improvement projects using customer feedback, warranty data and historical trends to identify root causes and long-term solutions
- Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Centres of Competence, Suppliers, Product Investigation and Retailers to resolve complex engineering and quality concerns
- Develop and track lessons learned to support current and future programmes, reducing repeat issues and strengthening early life quality
- Build a strong understanding of warranty returns and triage processes to support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that will help you succeed here, including –
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships across varied stakeholder groups
- Experience in Vehicle Launch or Plant Vehicle Operations with a background in engineering issue resolution
- Strong communication skills with confidence engaging at all levels
- Ability to work in a reactive environment where rapid turnaround is essential
- Knowledge of JLR systems and methods such as AIMS, WERS and AGILE
- Competence in structured problem-solving tools including 8D and Six Sigma
- Understanding of field quality data systems and metrics such as IQM, AWS and VFDB
