JOB TITLE: Senior Business Analyst
The successful candidate for the above role will retain their current employer, i.e. if you are a Jaguar employee you will continue to be administered on the Jaguar grading structure with the associated terms and conditions. If you are currently on BAC or EMC terms, you will retain your current employer but will transfer to a Jaguar Landrover contract and the associated terms and conditions. 




Jaguar Land Rover is increasing its capability and capacity of its Digital workforce to identify and automate activities across the Enterprise to free up colleagues to focus on more interesting and strategic elements of their role. This exciting role is part of our Intelligent Process Automation Centre of Excellence (COE) which has evolved from our Robotic Process Automation COE and combines traditional RPA technology with cognitive / Artificial Intelligence capabilities, upskilling our Digital workforce to read, interpret, analyse and support colleagues with enhanced decision-making. These new capabilities, combined with process improvement capabilities, such as lean six sigma will be applied to processes across Jaguar Landrover in order to unlock efficiency across end-to-end value streams by optimising delivery and improving process compliance.


As part of our new Intelligent Process Automation CoE, this exciting role encapsulates process solution design and automation development to drive maximum benefits through use of RPA and other complimentary technologies, such as Smart Workflow tools, Optical Character Recognition (OC), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Python and SQL.


The Business Analyst will support the development of the IPA engagement strategy and approach across the business and works closely with internal customers, to identify business processes for automation, perform requirements gathering and assess opportunities. The RPA tool of choice at Jaguar Land Rover is Blue Prism, you’ll be experienced in working either with Blue Prism or with similar RPA tools, as well as have some knowledge and experience of other cognitive technologies.




The Business Analyst will engage with Jaguar Landrover internal customers at various levels to evangelise the use of IPA technologies and their associated benefits. They will be able to determine suitable candidate processes for automation and will ensure process definition and documentation are a suitable level of detail to enable automation delivery.  The Business Analyst will help maintain the relationship between the customer and the Development team throughout the development lifecycle and will be the first point of escalation for our Customers experiencing any service disruption.


The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IPA technology and capability playbook with use cases that offer a compelling IPA value proposition and example use cases. They will stay abreast of emerging and complimentary technologies and will make recommendations to on-board new technology partners to maximise business benefit and to ensure the RPA COE at Jaguar Land Rover continues to embrace digital technologies.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Product Management experience in developing and selling value propositions (preferably associated with Digital / Automation capabilities / technologies)
  • Experience in delivering presentations to senior management
  • Experience in designing and developing complex business cases

If you are an existing Jaguar Land Rover employee at the same grade as this position, please be aware that no pay increases are applied to lateral moves. For promotions, the salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including the size of and skills required for the role, the external market value of the role and your individual knowledge and experience.
