WHAT TO EXPECT: 

 

This is an exciting time to join JLR.  The IO digital and innovation department is new and has been put together from a variety of different functions.  It is the department leading transformation across the business.  The compliance of the department is key and the  person wanting to do this role, will be keen to be involved in the transformation whilst managing the compliance and governance of the department (currently 350 heads), without hindering the developments.

 

Digital & Innovation within Industrial Operations is a core pillar of the IO function, the successful candidate as a Senior Specialist will be responsible for leading / supporting IO Digital & Innovation Functions & Key Stakeholders, in the following:

  • Enterprise Risk Management
  • Organisational Resilience
  • Privacy Data Protection
  • IO Digital & Innovation Quality Management System

 

This role will involve travel to JLR site nationally and internationally

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

 

  • Support IO Digital & Innovation in applying risk management processes and techniques with the aim of increasing awareness, ownership and management of risks
  • Drive IO Digital & Innovation risk alignment in relation to the end-to-end process, across the stakeholders within and across other enterprise-wide processes
  • Consolidate IO Digital & Innovation ERM Level 1 and Level 2 Risk status and report to the MLC and RMC
  • Lead the coordination and tracking of Organisational resilience efforts across the functions including; Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, implementation, training, testing, exercising and reviewing
  • Provide key support to IO Digital & Innovation in Privacy and Data Protection compliance, by co-ordinating & Governing IO Digital & Innovation Data Protection Framework
  • Support in embedding Data Protection policies and processes and updating the IO Digital & Innovation Personal Data Inventory
  • Act as a IO Digital & Innovation Lead JLR Way Operational Administrator
  • Ensure IO Digital & Innovation Quality Management System requirements are established and in compliance to IATF 16949 via Internal Audit and acting as lead for IO Digital & Innovation in reporting to Company Quality

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 

  • A good working knowledge of Risk Management
  • A good working knowledge of JLR GDPR/Data Protection
  • Working knowledge of IO Digital & Innovation Processes and Business Systems
  • Working knowledge of current quality standards (ISO9001/IATF16949)
