Your contributions will transform our iconic brands and shape the future of modern luxury. Become part of a global business and create exceptional.

As a Skills Intelligence Lead here at JLR, you’ll sit at the forefront of shaping how we understand and respond to the evolving global skills landscape. You’ll translate complex signals across technology, markets, and labour trends into clear, decision-ready insight that drives strategic workforce planning. In doing so, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling JLR to build, buy, and partner for the critical capabilities needed to deliver our Reimagine strategy.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this role, no two days are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it’s a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organisation. Here’s what to expect:

  • Continuously scan and synthesise external skills and capability signals across technology, markets, regulation, education, and labour trends
  • Translate complex external insights into clear, enterprise-relevant narratives that inform strategic workforce decisions
  • Develop forward-looking foresight and horizon views, highlighting implications across short, medium, and long-term planning cycles
  • Support enterprise decision-making on make, buy, or partner strategies for critical skills
  • Provide proactive, evidence-led insight (“push”) to complement business demand signals and strengthen workforce planning maturity
  • Curate and validate external data, research, and benchmarks from leading consultancies, academia, and industry sources
  • Produce compelling foresight briefings and insight outputs that enable engagement and action across the business

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Demonstrated business and commercial acumen, with a track record of applying a future-focused, strategic and systems-thinking mindset to translate external trends into enterprise-relevant insight
  • A strong track record of distilling complex information into clear, compelling, and decision-ready insights.
  • Proven expertise in research and environmental scanning, using qualitative and quantitative analysis to generate meaningful insight
  • Deep understanding of global skills ecosystems, including education, technology, and labour markets
  • Strong problem-solving capability, with resilience and adaptability to navigate ambiguity and complexity in fast moving and evolving environments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels without formal authority, engaging, challenging, and building trusted relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience working with external data sources, benchmarks, and insight providers

BENEFITS

This role is rewarding in more ways than one. On top of our core offering, you’ll do extraordinary work with amazing people. In addition, you can expect a wide range of benefits:

  • You will be eligible to choose one vehicle under the Management Loan Agreement Plan
  • A 52-week maternity leave policy and a 4-week paternity leave policy. Other parental leave policies are available

At JLR, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work.
