As a Senior Production Leader within Manufacturing Operations at JLR’s Battery Assembly Centre, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. This position offers the chance to lead and develop teams, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery targets are met while championing innovation and digitalisation in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

  • Lead and coach Process Leaders to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Environment (SQDCPE) targets
  • Oversee daily shift performance, ensuring production targets are met and reporting key metrics to senior management
  • Manage team performance, attendance, and development, including disciplinary and capability procedures
  • Scope, plan, and execute future projects including process improvements, technology upgrades, and capacity expansions
  • Champion digitalisation, automation, and lean initiatives to enhance operational resilience and efficiency

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Proven leadership in high-volume or complex manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of safety systems and production processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production planning tools
  • Experience in manpower planning and team development
