Join the Chassis Motion System team as a Lead System Integration Engineer and help develop smart off-road driving technology with autonomous ambitions. You’ll work in an agile squad to design, integrate, and test control systems powered by sensors and actuators, solving complex challenges and shaping the architecture behind future-ready features. You’ll play a central role in redefining how drivers and vehicles conquer off-road terrain.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Own the integration and delivery of intelligent chassis control software that transforms how customers experience off-road driving by using JLRs leading Auto Terrain Response technology.

 

•    Lead the integration and testing of a multi-sensor, actuator-driven control system
•    Support system harmonisation across distributed vehicle architectures
•    Develop physical interfaces and update core system documentation
•    Create validation plans and test cases to prove software functionality
•    Investigate and resolve issues through root-cause analysis
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate software capability

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

Bring technical expertise and leadership to a high-performing squad shaping the future of mobility.

 

•    In-depth knowledge of systems integration and engineering for safety-critical environments
•    Strong grounding in software controls and mechatronic system theory
•    Previous experience in end to end delivery of vehicle adaptive systems and features such as terrain response, lane assist, cruise control or any other ADAS features.
•    Hands-on experience in physical testing, CANape, CANalyzer, Flexray, Ethernet.
•    Proven delivery of software-based features from concept to production
•    Ability to lead, prioritize, and problem-solve across technical challenges
