Reporting to the Service and Parts Growth Manager, the Channel Management Specialist is responsible for the management, administration, and continuous improvement of fixed operations programs that drive retailer and OEM revenue growth, customer retention, and owner loyalty. This role oversees a portfolio of strategic programs including commodity-based commission and royalty programs, service contracts, prepaid maintenance offerings, and supplier partnerships. The successful candidate will drive program performance through strong vendor management, financial analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance the retailer and customer experience.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage a portfolio of fixed operations programs, including batteries, tires, lubricants, tooling, service contracts, and prepaid maintenance offerings.
  • Lead supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with business objectives, service expectations, and program performance goals.
  • Evaluate supplier and program performance through benchmarking, operational reviews, issue resolution, and compliance monitoring.
  • Drive program development and execution from strategy and implementation through performance tracking and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer retention, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring successful delivery of objectives, milestones, and business outcomes.
  • Analyze program, financial, and forecasting data; deliver performance reporting and actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally and act as a subject matter expert to support business initiatives, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive best practices across the retailer network.

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of program management, channel management, or related business experience.
  • Experience managing supplier/vendor relationships and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, financial, forecasting, reporting, and performance measurement skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs/projects, drive process improvements, and implement business solutions.
  • Understanding of retailer operations, customer retention, loyalty programs, or automotive aftersales operations preferred.

 

Travel: Approximately 5–10% travel required.

 

Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
