Position:  Customer Service Department (Parts/Logistics & Customer Experience)

Details of the program:

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or Graduate Program
  • The Internship is for June 10, 2024 to May 23, 2025
  • 25-29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Hybrid Schedule available
  • Paid internship - $18/hour


What you will be doing:

  • Reviewing workshop capacity including service lead times to ensure operational efficiency at Retailers is continually maintained
  • Supporting the monthly reporting of market goodwill expenditure, identifying retailers with abnormal spend, implementing action plans to address
  • Assisting with the delivery of Customer Paid Parts revenue targets for North America (USA & Canada)
  • Supporting JLR NA Classic Car program
  • Assisting with the strategy and implementation of connected car solutions to enhance customer experience and drive revenue opportunities
  • Supporting the development and management of programs that support our IQS Brand NPS results
  • Understanding the operating strategy for the Part Distribution Centers (PDCs) and working with the chosen Third Party Logistics (3PLs) to deliver this
  • Supporting the strategic development of operational processes with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and the use of technology and data to deliver a seamless, luxury customer experience
  • Assisting with the refinement, implementation, and measurement of selected key performance indicators including weekly and monthly reporting and promote delivery of a best-in-class luxury customer experience, leading improvements as required
  • Collaborating with functional leads from seven global Centres of Excellence and four Regional Heads of Logistics to ensure a harmonized, sustainable service level and a resilient, continuous flow of material through the global supply chain
  • Supporting the management of the supply chain for all locally sourced materials from supplier to customer


What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in progress (Junior or Senior), or pursuing a graduate studies degree for 2024-2025 
  • Strong Analytical background
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • High level of professionalism
  • Detailed orientated, self starter, strong work ethic, team player, ability to build to build rapport and communicate confidently; 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills
