Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry!  This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.

Details of the program:

• The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or Graduate Program
• The Internship is for June 10, 2024 to May 23, 2025
• 25-29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
• Hybrid Schedule available
• Paid internship - $18/hour

What you will be doing:

• Gain a thorough understanding of the JLR Engineering operation working with the market teams (LTS, LPi, CRC, Warranty, Parts etc) supporting the overall objective of improving JLRs quality metrics and supporting the Uk engineering teams
• Support and lead a range of Technical Engineering level tasks cascaded by the Engineering team and / or management.
• Support the resolution of individual customer issues within our Global Concerns Management toolset working closely with the technical services team
• Assist in the detection of emerging systemic quality issues and work as part of team or as a lead to help resolve the issues robustly and at pace.
• Learn hands-on working in an established Engineering level team.
• The role is intended to be technical, diverse, fast paced and engaging adding value to an established engineering level technical team

 What you will need:

• Understanding of how a vehicle operates including systems and component knowledge
• Strong understanding of Engineering disciplines  
• Natural problem solver and ability to derive solutions to technical issues.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Planner, PowerAutomate)
• Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in a collegiate academic program for 2024/25 (either a junior, senior, or graduate student)
• 3.3 GPA or higher
• Preferred – knowledge in Tableau
• Technical, Dedicated, Committed, Curious, Team player, Driven
